Halfstep Guildhall: Guild Master Simulator

You are Garrick "Halfstep," a retired warrior with one leg, a mop and a guildhall that's falling apart. Fix it up one room at a time and turn it into the most famous adventurers' guild in the realm.

• 100 unique personalities. Tsunderes, drunk dwarves, fabulous orcs, spoiled heiresses, cheery necromancers, part-time demon lords, extremely loud ninjas, perfect butlers, muscle wizards, reincarnated office workers and many more, all drawn from beloved anime comedy tropes. Each has needs, moods, friendships, grudges and romances, all drawn as anime-style portraits.
• Over 110 pairings. Some personalities click and some clash. Put the right pair on a contract for bonus power, loot or gold, or watch a rivalry blow up the mission.
• Run the hall by hand. Pour drinks for tips, make beds, feed the fire, tend the greenhouse, patch up the wounded and throw feasts.
• Send parties out. Match classes and personalities, then send them on contracts and monster hunts. Their heads end up on your trophy wall: griffins, hydras, cerberus and more.
• Hire quirky caretakers. Get a room to level 5 and someone like Hippie Tom, Queen Emo or Tommy 2 Tokes moves in to run it.
• Play games with your crew. Blackjack, dice, arm wrestling, darts and drinking contests build loyalty.
• Defend the city. Wolf raids, ogre hordes, undead marches and dragon flights hit the city in the late game. Fortify, hire mercenaries, repair the damage, and pay the ransom when assassins snatch your librarian.
• Make it yours. Spend your fortune on chandeliers, stained glass, a pipe organ, a golden statue of Garrick and a portrait gallery of your favourite adventurers.
• A living tavern. An original folk soundtrack that follows the clock (flute jigs by day, fiddle in the evening, quiet lute at night, war drums when a horde arrives), with crowd chatter, a crackling hearth and the clink of every ale you pour.
• Get revenge. Hunt down Vharzul the Cinder-Wyrm, then keep playing as the realm's threats grow.
